Interesting story and thanks for posting it.....but God breathed the spirit of life into ADAM after He made him from the dust of the earth! When our bodies die they go back to dust but our spirit (soul) goes back to God who gave it! We know nothing after we die until our spirit is returned to our immortal bodies which will live forever and our soul (eternal life) will know all about Heaven and Earth in New Jerusalem City! We have mortal bodies and we have spiritual bodies! Our Spirit or soul never dies.....whether we are with our blessed Savior Jesus or in the depths of the Lake of Fire being punished forever! I agree with most of what you say, SS, but not about the soul which lives either in torture or in happiness! I still love you in the Lord though, and I don't know everything but I am godly wise in the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) of God! Amen!

Interesting.
I personally take Halloween very seriously, and I can assure you the Satanic forces in today's world have in fact latched on to Halloween and declared it their day. How do I know this, ............I am ashamed to admit I was involved in the Occult at one time, and have seen things and experienced things which most people seriously believe as just movie stuff, .......... it is not. Satan and his demons today consider Halloween a very dark and sacred day to celebrate, ...... and they do!
Halloween is the dark side's day, weather originally intended by man or not, .... they have laid claim to it, and possibly originally due to some old superstitions but certainly today due to our modern day view of it and our fascination with Horror Movies and the like.
Some great books of insight into the Occult today, and examples of GOD's amazing saving grace provided by his son Jesus: "He Came to Set the Captives Free" by Rebecca Brown MD, and, "Lucifer Dethroned" by William & Sharon Schnoebeler (?).
Written by good Christian people who, like me, were once involved in the dark world of the Occult, and while I only barely touched the surface of that dark world, ..... these folks were heavy deep into it. In their books they talk about Satan's world and his special days of Celebration, and Halloween is at the top. Real stuff, and terrifying, ..... but praise GOD he sent his son Jesus to set us Free from Satan and his horde. Praise GOD, .... and thank you Jesus, .... through you we need not have any fear at all!
I praise GOD daily for rescuing me from the dark side, .......... and I repeatedly and humbly apologize to him for straying there in the first place, I should have known better.
Be very careful, my brothers and sisters in Christ, the doors you open in life with your seemingly innocent interests. There are doors we as followers of Christ should never touch, but Praise GOD if we do happen to stray GOD is faithful to grab us and pull us out to safety. His Power and Love overcomes all and nothing can stand against it.

Thank you 7centsworth and Amen to and thank you Zectron for your post that is very true and revealing about satan's constant entrapments for those who don't know God's Word or stray into the darkness without knowledge of what ole slew-foot snares many into serving him and not our blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus! Satan has only the power God allows him to have, but Greater is Jesus within His own than satan is in the worldly who have not knowledge or godly wisdom by God's Holy Spirit! God Bless! Betty

Being a Christian and follower of Jesus, I don't celebrate the day mentioned in my article above but I've always wondered how it received it's start. As Christians, it is truly amazing how many holidays we celebrate that weren't Christian at all in the beginning. Jesus wasn't born on or anywhere near December 25 and then there's Easter, etc.
As for me and my family, we follow God's Holy Word just the way it's written, which reminds me of a one-liner in the movie "Ten Commandments" which was "So it is written - so let it be done!". My feelings exactly!

Interesting stuff and good stuff... As I read through I must say that I agree with many points from all. I have always wondered why the Celts chose this particular day. Some day it would be interesting to know why the pagans made this their day. They had Easter also but our Lord took that one for us and it is ours (His). I suspect that much has to do with exactly is posted. The fact remains that the forces of Satan have chosen this day and we have to be vigilant, we must not consider for 1 minute, this is all harmless shenanigans. Even if we choose as families to participate in SOME of the fun and games, I do believe that that can be done. Care must be taken.

That leads me to this conclusion --- both views are correct! Think about that one for a minute or a day or two. I think the bible supports views depending on whether you were with God before Christ or saved through Christ. I also do not know that our friend SS made an assertion one way or the other in his original post. From the book of Ecclesiastes the references made are just that and for all intent purposes the dead know nothing, they can not come back and share their wisdom or knowledge. In a manner of speaking they just as well have never been alive in the first place. As in "it is all meaningless". What is all meaningless? Every Single Thing That Happens Without GOD.
We must that remember that all of these type of debates are internal and do not change the basics of our faith.

Thanks Jeff....for every input is welcome and the truth must be revealed and told to those who search and ask of Him, in Jesus' precious name! The Holy Spirit of God is our guidance to understand what the scriptures mean and I praise Him, too, for being sent down to us after Jesus left on His Resurrection Day (called Easter by many)! This is truly our day and may we be vigilant in keeping it for believing Christians and not the world!
Another way to look at the dead know nothing is being dead in sin and not knowing Who God is or what He's done!
But those dead in their sins after mortal death will have their eternal souls cast into the Lake of Fire and punished, whether it be forever or just until they perish by being burned up! There are many mysteries that we will not know until we are with Jesus and then we will know as He knows! Hell is so awful that Jesus spoke more about it then about His Father's Kingdom and true believers heavenly Home!
The one thing we must agree with is that God is Jesus, Who came as a Babe in man's flesh and lived, died and lived again to save us from our sins by blieving faith and repentance of our sins! Jesus shed His precious blood and took the stripes for our many sins that He might save us from our sins, but we must accept Who He is and that He went back to His Father and sits by His right hand waiting to come and to catch us up during the rapture of God's saints! Amen!

historians there said the Celts hired mercenaries to protect their land. These mercenaries were pretty scary looking and they cut the heads of trespassers and put them on posts along the border as a warning to trespassers. Long story about how I heard about this and gruesome tales.
One thing I can say is demonic forces are always about and will take any opportunity to get into our homes. You might recall the battle I recently had to rid them from this place and the harm they were doing....yet...Sherry did not want to tell Casey about these 'goings on' because it might scare her thinking Leelan might not be safe...and then who walks in looking like this?????

Are those colored lens to show the red in her eyes? She sure doesn't know what she's doing or who she's messing with as satan and his demons came to kill, steal and destroy that which is good and of Jesus! I hope and pray she gets saved and understanding soon for all of your sakes, especially for her and Leelan!
Praying and casting the bad spirits out in Jesus' holy name is what we all need to do, as they can enter our homes through sinful people, through pornography and the horrible TV programs that the younger people usually watch! Oh, what a sad world we are living in now days and it will be getting worse and worse, so I pray, Please save those who will be saved and then come, qucikly Lord Jesus and catch us up to you and into safety from all harm! Good pic of you, Pete, and I know animals' eyes show up red in pics, but this is the first time or I think so that I've seen a person's pic with red eyes! She sure does look wicked and maybe the satanic spirits are within her and showing through her eyes? There are so many out in this world who are lost and especially the younger people! So, so sad for them and us!
