Got up early and scoped out some new schools, parks, etc. where I had never been before. A nice selection of older and newer schools, nice neighborhoods, playgrounds. Should have gotten way more clad, See those two dollar coins in the lower left corner? They'd been there for a while...lookat all those rings, in obvious spots, and deep enough to have been there for a few years too. Just cant figure it out. When I hit a totter that seems to have been picked, I crawl under the equipment, get up tight to the poles, sweep the periphery areas, main entrance, snow plow spots, etc...I'm not going back there any time soon. 73 coins, 5.88 total, 3 junk rings...so far this weekend, thats 3 dollar coins and 5 rings. Gotta find some gold at this pace sooner or later! Good Hunting to you all!

Another good batch of targets. Gold will come. You are persistent enough and gold and silver certainly gets lost in the places you are hunting. HH jim tn

Well, I got a little more clad closer to home, not much, and this .17 shell. look at those tiny charms! Even with disc set at 50 the F70 dont miss anything in the totlots. Then on the way home I came across a guy who had a flat, not just any old flat, a whole load of busted up concrete trailer half in the road type of flat! I figured since I had all the needed gear, gloves, tools, etc. and was dressed for it, I better stop. We had to toss a lot of this concrete in the back of his truck to get the weight off, amazingly, my tire iron fit the nuts, and I also had a can of liquid wrench, so everything worked out perfectly! I stopped and bought myself a 24oz beer on the way home with dirty found money! :buds: What a geat day! Now I'll take the dogs for a run and see what adventure lies ahead!

Hi Mud,
I was on a business trip driving between Dallas and OK City when I stopped to help a hay truck. The guy's load had shifted and he almost lost it. He split his gloves up (I got one and he got one) and we unloaded half the truck and then reloaded it. When we were done my arms looked like I'd been holding rabid cats :stars: Anyway, kudos for the good deed. When we need help we need help!

Finding the good places just requires a bit of patience and time. Funny how spots you think would be cherry turn out to be busts. I have some of them like that. Look great...but never any precious metal in them. Then other spots, bang, almost every hunt there is silver or gold.

Keep it up. You'll find some honey holes.

I can't get within 2 feet of a metal pole at the tot lots with my F75se. It goes crazy. I can't even go under swings that are within 2 feet of the top of the coil.
