I got a call from a retired couple (Retired Doctors, remember that) that moved to Idaho from Southern Cal. last year. They were both on the phone to explain what was wrong with their plumbing. Here is how it went, "Dave, we think that there is something wrong with our water. It's just is not quenching our thirst like it used to. We come in after working in the yard and gardens and drink a glass of water and we are still thirsty. What are you going to do to make our water satiate our thirst like it used to?" I asked them how long this had been a problem. "Oh it has been about two weeks now and we just can't understand what is goin' on." This strange non-thirst-quenching water problem started at the same time our annual heat wave hit. It was over 100 for a week with highs of 108 a couple days. It is still around 95-99 every day. Until 2 weeks ago, the weather was in the 70's and 80's. What do you think is the "Plumbing problem" that they have?

Do they have well water or use city water? Or is that irrelevant?
