Is a jw Fisher pulse 8 or 6 what i need? I have a 1280x.my first under water detector it works fine but i am thinking of up grading to a detector that is better. My primary hunt ting is done in fresh water lakes in 0 to 25 feet of water the visibility is poor at best.It seems that1280 dose not pin point well and is hard to handle under the water.Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.i don't need a lot of fancy stuff just a good product that will last.

Go with a CZ 21 or Excalibur or even a Tigershark. With that JW Fisher you have in mind you will be digging everthing, nails, bobby pins and all kinds of iron scrap. Hope this Helps.

JUST READING SOME OLD THREADS THAT SAID THE PULSE RATE WOULD NOT PICK UP SMALL GOLD RINGS ECT.THAT THEY ARE MADE MORE FOR LARGE OBJECTS.THE EXCALIBR IS PROBABLY THE WAY TO GO.HOW ABOUT A 730 VIBRATOR OR A AQUA PULSE[WRIST TYPE]?THANK YOU FOR THE HELP
