Unfortunately after cleaning my 1918 buffalo the 7 under the 8 disappeared . Thank you Reltobert for the tip on cleaning, very pleased with the results and was very simple to perform. The 1911 V cleaned up nice as well. The two Merc's are from same day, just different area.

Yesterdays hunt gave me four awesome pennys, 1895 IH, 1915 S and two 1916. It's amazing how you can return to a place you think you have cleaned up and she keeps on giving.
