I figured out what the problem was, the wire under the strain relief next to the plug was broken so I cut that end off and grafted another plug onto the headphones, they work good now. Problem solved : )
Glat to hear it! No pun intended.
I have KB headphones with the insulation cable that is rotting away. Are they still in business?

I contacted him, he is still repairing the headphones, I just emailed him not long ago. I just decided to fix them myself since it was just a cord problem.
