Kind of a mixed bag morning hunt.

Hit the woods right at 7a and 30 minutes later hadn't yet dug my first keeper target. Several foil and tabs found there way into my pouch as a result of looking for that gold coin. As I stuck my coil beside a rotted log I heard something and low and behold there was the 3 Merry Widows. Seeing them kind of opened up the recoveries gate as I dug the round ball, 2 Memorial cents, 1 wheat and then the Hy Vis motor oil token. All, in fairly short order. A little bit later I got the 1902 IH cent, another wheat and Memorial cent and about a foot away from the Memorial dug the jack knife. As I was making my way back to my vehicle following one of the trails I got the no date Buffalo nickel. That target had a bit of depth, all of 5," according to how far I had the pin pointer down in the hole. I had put the 6 1/2" elliptical coil on my LTD a couple of days ago and really enjoy using that coil, particularly for woods hunting. Sen 90, disc 0, 4h tones, b p mode and g b of 62-65 this morning. Good work as usual Jim! Its been snowing here steadily for the last week, 14 degrees right now..good thing the big Winter fest is this weekend, so I'll have something to go look for! I've been going to the hills for a little every other morning, and not staying too long, just clad for now, and not much of that either. Thanks for keeping me entertained!
