Kind Words

Ephesians 4:32 begins with the words, "And be kind to one another" (NKJV). Look at how this verse fits in perfectly with what we saw yesterday, about treating others as God has treated us! Kindness is to mark the Christian at all times. But there are at least three specific needs that call for three specific kinds of encouragement.

First, we are to show kindness to spiritual babies.

Very good, Martin, and when a person is tired, ill, hurting from others' unkind words or just having a bad day, it is difficult to be kind and help one another by speaking kindly instead of harshly! That is why we pray to God, in Jesus' name, to help us to be nice and say what others need to hear to be encouraged, too! I usually pray, Dear Lord give me the strength to go through and the power to overcome all things, today! Please help others see Christ within me that they might seek You, also, and have Your blessings of provision, healing and protections for them!

Yes, it takes prayer, faith in Jesus, reading the Scriptures to be elated up farther to be more than overcomers in Christ Jesus! But I often fail in these and have to repent and ask forgiveness for the times I fail to do Father God's will! I pray I am growing in godly wisdom and serving Him like I should everyday....even in times of trials and sicknesses! May God Bless! Amen! Betty

"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12

The golden rule is very good and what everyone should do, but we still cannot be good enough without salvation, by accepting, believing in and knowing Jesus' love and caring ways! He is the One and Only God, Who helps us to get through and overcome all things! Our own goodness is as filthy rags in His sight! No one will enter into Heaven or have eternal life with Him unless we confess our sins and are forgiven and covered in the precious, shed blood or our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ!

Even heathens, pagans and people of the sinful world often do good by sharing and caring for others, but they cannot enter into God's glory without being blood-covered within their souls and have Jesus' forgiving agape love within their hearts! Jesus is pure and has never sinned, so we are to be holy as He is holy....doesn't mean we obtain that goal unless we really are serving the Lord and seeking His presence for elation above worldliness and when we're with God!

We must be purified and sanctified by Jesus' blood and washed clean and white like the wind-driven-snow to be in His presence! God cannot look upon sin and that is why He turned away from Jesus when He was dying upon the cross and asking His Father why have You forsaken me? For Jesus to cry out like that, for remember He is also fully God as well as fully man, He had to be suffering terribly and no one has ever suffered like He has just so we might be saved and living with Him forever more! For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son to live, die and live again! Jesus knew what He had to do and knew the awful pain and death He would have to bear, but He did it willingly for us! What a Savior to think of us first and to take all our sins upon Himself! God Jehovah is a mighty and awesome God and the only Savior of the world's sinners!

Yes, we all need to follow the golden rule, but only the true believers and faithful servants will meet Jesus in the air and be forever with Him and not in the Lake of Fire! Think about it.....Will you choose life or choose death? It is your choice!

Keep on posting and asking, as I like to witness for Jesus....whether saved or unsaved, for that is my and other Christians' calling to be used to farther God's Kingdom! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
