Had a good weekend of hunting. Got together with some good old friends yesterday and had a lot of fun, made a few good finds and had a few brews. Got out with Kevin this morning and started hunting in the drizzle. We hit a few sites but didnt find much and then remebered a site we had permission for but we passed by last fall dues to deer hunters out farther in the field. First five minutes and Kevin digs a nice LC, a few minutes later I pop up one of my "most wanteds", I was pumped. It's a '72 2 cent piece only 65,000 mintage and the key date of the series. It doesn't have a lot of detail but it don't have any corrosion or dings.

Way to go buddy. Mine are always '60s. Glad to see you pull a key date. I bet it made the Deus scream. Congrats.

Hey Shawn, Saturday was the first outing in about 4 weeks. I'll be getting out a little bit more now. Ya know, one of these days you just might have to change those stripes and come on over to the dark side ;-)

Great to hear pal. You have been in our thoughts and just wanted to let you know weve been thinking about ya. Please stay in touch. And about the dark side.... You cant change a good ole Southern Boy!
