Kruzer 5 kHz

Was wondering how many guys are trying the Kruzer on 3 kHz for silver coins. Used to have an X-70 with a 5 kHz coil that was just a killer on silver coins.

The bulk of my hunting is done with 14 or 15 kHz detectors because most often I am working in moderate to heavy trash sites. I do up for 19 or 20 kill her operation when I'm in dense iron trash, so I've had little opportunity to make use of 5 Hz operation.

It'll probably take two or three months before we get decent weather where I can get into some old use grassy parks that are not as trashy and where that lower frequency maybe to my benefit for hire conductive coins.

Even my impact had little use of that low-frequency last year simply because I'm not in an ideal location to put it to work. Probably 80 or 90% of the places I detect most often have a dense concentration of nails and other iron debris.
