Kruzer and Impact Coils Compatible?

The Impact coils are a short-length coil cable and for some taller folks the rod can be extended on the Kruzer series and still have the cable reach to connect.

Also the standard 7X11 DD has the rubber boot at the coil connector to help resist water intrusion at the connector and that isn't on the Impact search coils. I'll suggest any Kruzer/Multi-Kruzer owner only purchase the proper Kruzer series search coils.
