Bud,

I'm sorry for not getting this posted before now, but I have been exceptionally busy the past few days.

Thank you, SO MUCH, for the digger!!!! I needed a new one and I love this one!!! Right size, weight, and everything. I hope to give it a good workout one day next week - if I get to go detecting as planned. I really appreciate the gift - It's a DANDY!

Lisa

Had to take the pictures in a HURRY. Didn't know which one would turn out best, so I'll just post both of them.

NIce Gift! Like the collection of stoneware. ...Joe

Hahaha! Thanks, Joe! I have well over 100 pieces of OLD utilitarian pottery! Got the stuff shoved in every corner, nook and cranny... and on top of everything... in every room.

Love the chair! I tried to win one just like it in a raffle at a convention a few years back. They are nice!

Thanks. Yeah, I really like my chair. I bought it from its maker in Amish Country. There is an Amish community that's about 130 miles from me (it is located in Ethridge, Tennessee), and I go there a few times each year. I have a matching coffee table too. Got several little things I've bought from the Amish.

hey that is a cool digger! neat gift. Lisa do you detect much? I am not sure I remember you posting pics of finds before?

I like the sewing machine , my mama used to have one just like it.

Like 5 miles is Amish country.

My mother-in-law gave it to me right before she died in May of 2008. I like it too. :)

Not as much as I used to but I still detect when I can. All the getting up and down to dig can be kinda rough on someone with fibromyalgia and arthritis, and I stay so busy too. I haven't posted any pictures of finds in a long time. Just don't take the time to take pictures and post them. Plus, there really hasn't been anything too unusual to post anyway.

Go get you a chair! You'll love it, I'm sure!

Nice digger and antiques, Lisa! I have my mothers old Singer Treadle Sewing Machine....She made clothes for me, herself and lots and lots of homemade quilts! She kept busy...worked in the garden in summer and canned vegs for the wintertime! She had a heart attack and was dead before hitting the wall and floor and had been canning using fruit jars with lids to twist! She just wore out because of taking care of dad, also, who wasn't able to do much at all and was difficult to care for.....keeping her awake too many nights!

Hope you get to use your digger a lot in the New Year and May God Bless you and yours with a more peaceful year, together! Amen! Ma Betty
