I have been looking for my 1800 coin since the first of the year. Every year we kind of have a contest to see who can find the first gold, first Wheat, Indian, Barber etc. I had not filled my 1800 coin slot yet and was long over due. I told my hunting buddy I needed to get my 1800's coin so we went to a small park in Mineola Kansas. We had found many Indians, Barbers and wheats in the past but had pretty much clean it out with out E-Tracs over the years. I took the Deus with a 9" coil hoping to take advantage of the super fast recovery in this heavy iron trashed park. Well it worked. In fact I found my 1890 Indian Head in the spot where my buddy had just hunted with hid E-Trac with the SEF 6x8. Also found and railroad button. Both keepers were in with iron.

Nice SW!
The Indian sure cleaned up nice.
I need to get out more but life has been getting in the way.
Cheers

Very nice looking Indian Head and great Railroad button!

Nice finds!

That doesn't surprise me that an Etrac was just over it. I have the Etrac and as we all know it kicks butt most anywhere but I too can say that my Deus I had really had the upper hand in the iron.
