Lady Shadow Prototype?

Yesterday I purchased s Troy Shadow X2 from and individual. As I was cleaning it, I noticed on the battery cover it had "Lady Shadow!" After some research, I found out that Troy had thought about creating a Lady Shadow but except for prototypes, it was never released to the public. Could this be a rare prototype?

If I can remember correctly they made the X2 then made the X2 Lady which it was built by Tesoro for Troy , I think beside the name it was a slight different freq so so they could be run together without crosstalk. I dont think they sold that great, so it may be not many made.
If someone knows more it would be nice.

Troy Shadow X2's were built with two different frequencies so they would not crosstalk while hunting close to each other. If your serial number ends with an A then you have a 10 KHZ unit. If your serial number ends with a B...this was considered the Lady model that operates at 9.6 KHZ. The Lady model did come with a small sticker and some people placed it on the arm cuff.

The Lady shadow was sold and I still have 2 of them. You will notice the serial number starts with a “B”. Regular ones start with “A”.

I recently came across a X2 but it only had a Tesoro 8' coil. I asked the guy where was the Shadow coil ?? He said that was the way he got it in TX at a hunt.
Anyone ever hear of something like that ?? It was the coil that made the X2 such a great machine.
