large quail recommendations for covering a large area of the Oregon beaches

I am looking for recommendations on a large coil to cover large areas At Oregon beaches. I mostly look for jewelry on beach trails. what would you recomend

I highly recommend you do not go out and buy an 18 inch coil. I use the 14" SEF. ( as well as other coils) I did a lot of research on the type of coil to use in a situation like that and the 18 was more money and not as optimal in its capability. In other words the 14 was the most optimal size, depth and dollar. TIP: Keep in mind that if you do hit a hot spot with a big coil that you may loose the ability to zone in on one great item and miss it unless your skilled and care full. If I get some odd sounding signals with a few good high tone or good tone vdi I will dig up everything if its easy to dig and check until I get all the good sounds out and up. For one its easy for me to dig on a beach, and two I go much faster just digging up the sand and checking the multiple targets.

Try the SEF 14 Excellorator...you'll love it. That is my 2 cents.
