Large silver ring with 000II around the face and the sides.

Done a little backyard dirtfishing with another member from the forums today. I found 12 wheaties,a silver Canadian quarter dated 1913 and about a buck and a half in clads. My partner found a couple of wheaties,one rosie a three ringer War Between the States bullet and a huge silver ring that has the markings 000II repeatly around the face and on the edges. Does anyone know what these markings signify? I was using my ATPRO and he uses a ML E-TRAC. We had a good day.

Are the symbols the same all the way around like this 000110001100011 Or more random looking? 00011001110110101001110?

Might be Binary if it's either.

The ring has 000II all the way around the top surface and around the edges on both sides. I can take macro pic's.

Does anyone know what these symbols represent? I am sure its a ring,it is stamped .925 on the inside, so I'm ruling out it being a homemade item.

I don't believe its a watch bezel. There are no threads nor beveled edges to attach it to a watch face. Oh Well ! Its a size 13 silver mystery ring.
