Here is a Roman coin hoard, found in Britain.

It was detected a couple of years ago, but it's still amazing. Nothing like it has been found since then.

Hoards are not found in abundance these days here in uk , yes there are hoards to be found , hoards were coming out left right and center in 70's 80's 90's even BFO detectors were pulling hoards out at one time.
