Hit a some tot lots with my youngest daughter and only had two keepers other than clad. This green car and a thick brass track or cross country medal.

Hunted with Shawano the other day at an 1800's farm site and that was the stingiest ground I hunted in a long time. Not one wheat penny to be had. I think we only had 4 clad between us. Got a few relics though. Old Tootsie Toy car, a victorian era brooch, a brass burniture piece, old lantern top, possible old bird band, and the upper right is a neat suspender buckle. It is the heaviest one I have ever found. Hard to see but it has a script letter "P" on it and some neat designs.

Last week I hunted with a friend in the club and got these relics. 3 wheats, an early flat button, modern kids ring, pocket watch face, and a figure that was once mounted on a toy fire truck I think.

Scrap brass and copper from that hunt. I save all of that for cashing in later.

Lastly my wife bought this wonderful apple pie yesterday at a church bake/craft sale. Anyone want a piece?[attachment 214781 DSC02620.JPG]

Nice finds, Mike. How many pieces of that pie have you had now? I'll let you have my piece! Apple pie isn't on my list of edible foods. Neither is peach pie. Looks pretty though! Don't believe I've ever seen one just like that before.

one Sat and one Sun. The rest was gobbled up by the girls. What no peach pie, and you are a southern gal???:blink:
Isn't that against the rules?
Neat thing about the hearts and apple shapes on the crust. They were taken from another pie crust where you could just see the shape holes on the other pie.

I'll take a piece of that pie! Mouth watering!! Great finds Mike!

I like peach flavored stuff (ice cream, etc.) but I just don't like actual peaches. It's something about the texture/slime, or somethin. Same thing with bananas. I like banana flavored things but can't eat a banana. The more I chew, the bigger it gets - it's that blasted thick MUSH. If I sat and thought about eating a banana for long enough, I could throw up - literally! I like apples (yellow ones only) but I just don't like apple pie. I'm more of a berry person. Strawberries, cherries, grapes, muscadines, blue berries, blackberries, etc.

I still think you are breaking some kind of southern gal rule or something like that! :lmfao:

Well, lets keep that on the down low! Don't wanna get thrown out of Dixie! lol

Neat finds Mike! Now...about that pie, can you FedEx me a slice?

Ummm Lisa, do we share DNA? I like fresh peaches, peach ice cream and the occasional cobbler (if done right), but canned peaches in any form is a textural no-no. It's like snot, ya know? The texture of something you shouldn't be coughing up much less eating. As for apples, I like homemade chunky applesauce and yellow delicious, but I do not like fried apples or apple pie much. Bananas....never. The only way I eat bananas is in banana pudding or bread. They make me gag. I have major texture issues I suppose. People around here go crazy about the fried apples at Cracker Barrel and I ordered them one time. ICK...soft, slimy....apples covered in goo. No thank you! Does look pretty, Mike. Somebody got creative with the crust!

I lie almost all fruit except pine apple . I get sick just smelling it. I do not care for cherries much either.

Now Ma, we will have no name callin' on here. Callin' me and Lisa peculiar!?! lol, that's a good thing...I think!
