I am off to a very late start this year, after a very long winter. I think I was detecting by mid march last year, where this year I didn't get out for the first time until April 28th As a matter of fact there is still a foot plus of ice on the lakes up here as of today .. unreal. The bottom photo is Lake Vermilion on May 11th .. just a few miles out of town.

Anyhow, I'm on the boards finally. Looks like most of us are off to a good start this year .. .... hope everyone has a prosperous 2013 !!
