Last field hunt of spring, good while it lasted!

well last night was the last field hunt of spring, farmers are planting fields all around me now. It was a great season for fields, been hitting them since jan. with the mild winter we had. They were VERY giving to my wife and I, I am pretty happy about all our finds, and had a blast recovering all those oldies.

Last night we hit a field one last time, trying to squeek out a couple last keepers, she got a 1900 indian, small button, and I got a super shape CW general service button, suspender clip, and the odd looking thing with a woman's face.

Looks like you and the wifey had some real good success in the fields this year. I've enjoyed reading your posts about it and seeing all the goodies. What's growing in the fields? Anything good for the dinner table?

I'm glad they held off long enough to get in one last hunt with you for the spring. I'm going to work on lining up some fields for the fall if you want to come down. One rule though....you have to let me find the first LC.....lol. Another round of great finds Goes......I love the button!!!

You really cleaned up at the fields this year so far, and think about if the fall turns out to be as nice as the end of winter was...wow you will be going field hunting all day long!
