Last Ghost Town Hunt For 2013

Spent a three hour hunt with my Deeptech Vista Gold and pulled a few more relics from the Civil War era ghost town I've been hunting the past year. Five pistol bullets, including one of my favorites, a .36 cal. teardrop. It was the 847th "dropped" teardrop I've recovered in thirty three years of hunting. Also found a brass rivet, a brass "whatsit" (thought shotgun shell base, but has some writing on it that doesn't seem to match up) part of a harmonica reed and a thimble. Area was quite trashy, but the Deeptech dug zero nails. It's a wonder in nail infested areas.

keep on diggin'

Thank's for sharing, Jimmy :) and Happy New Year :beers:
May the New Year bring to you and all Vista users amazing artefacts during everyday detecting and ... why not a little hoard under the Vista coil;)

Looks like you are still doing good with your Gold. Still wish they would build a 12"-13" coil for the Smart & Gold. Happy New Year, Mark
