Last hunt in local park for 2011, "maybe!!!"

Had about three hours to burn last Sunday at old faithful and chose a section that I have pounded pretty hard. I kept the swing real slow, tight to the ground and investigated the smallest of small signals.I found that with the small quick hits if you work it hard enough " round and around " it normally gives up something decent. The IH's lay ed 8-9 inches deep in an area that when I was a 10/11 years old ,the city had added a layer of top soil and a couple of flower beds. It wasn't a real stellar day, 1902 IH, 1906 IH,1917 wheat and 1945 wheat, but fun none the less. The ring in the middle, I believe to be for a child or possibly a toe ring. No markings on it just added for coin "bling bling"
I think this old park is ready for a smaller coil as I believe there is many more deeper treasures and I'm not sure which one too purchase. There are+ and - to every coil and I will need to research more.

Thanks for looking,
Moose

What about the EXcelerator 8x6 SEF coil? That one looks like a good choice. Can anyone confirm this?
