Last of the Alaska trip pics. I'll do it in 2 posts. The last ones are for the ladies, I need some ID help.

[attachment 138220 100N-0533.1_DSC.JPG] This is Downtown Juneau, Capital of Alaska.
[attachment 138221 100N-0535.1_DSC.JPG] They told us that Juneau is totally landlocked. So that anything or anyone who comes there must do so by sea or by air.
[attachment 138222 100N-0535.1_DSC.JPG] Maybe that's a good idea. If the politicians can't get out except by sea or air, they'd have to stay until their work was finished, and be accountable.
[attachment 138223 100N-0553.1_DSC.JPG] This is the Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau. It's a National Park, and there are bears there. We didn't see any, but there was evidence all around from the salmon carcasses and bear scat all around.
[attachment 138225 100N-0559.1_DSC.JPG] A better closeupof the glacier shows the reflective colors . The waterfall on the lower right of the glacier had only been opened up for about a week.
[attachment 138228 100N-0545.1_DSC.JPG] The "bare" remains of a bear dinner.

Everthing I saw there was beautiful except the offcast vehicles, but I understand that there is no scrap metal market to dispose of them, so that's just one of the breaks of life.
