And, it appears I left some old stuff yet for next year. I worked a spot this morning that was loaded with iron for some reason. Dug things like battery connectors, nuts and bolts and stuff I didn't have a clue of what it was. I dug the pocket watch within the first 15 minutes of the hunt and from that point it was pretty much down hill from there. I did run into the 3 Merry Widows again and the 1 toasted wheat cent looks like it could be a 1913, but not sure. Although silver coin finds became quite lean the last six weeks of 2011 for me, I have ended up with 142 silver coins, 38 IH cents, 11 V nickels and 7 Buffalo nickels.
