Last several outings - 21 wheats and a Concord

TURNMASTER

Well, I went out today with the 705 and got clad and nothing else. I thought I would hit some deeper targets, but every place in this bario is trash city.
I ran the new SE yesterday, and thought I would give my wrist a rest today. That machine has the worst handle geometry, I am going fix that issue. Explorer users with the same complaint stay tuned.

I had some better success today with the 705 after a couple of outings that the machine settings did not perform to expectations. Some of that was trash some I believe to be moisture and some to running without Tracking on and Sens to dang high. Though any lower on the Sens and targets just disapeared. So???? Still was limited on depth.

21 Wheats aint all that bad though the oldest is 35. and the buttons were kinda neat and the plane is broken.

This was the results of my first time out with the Explorer.
Looks like it will fill its role. Those 2 wheats ('27 and '35), each were in holes with an assortment of nails including a 10 penny nail.
At a yard that I have hunted 3x and at least one other guy hit 1x.

I will keep working both machines. I think this Explorer would have a steeper learing curve for someone not having another ML.
G4E did you find that to be true? I think you said you did, mayde it was Digger.

I have an 8" FBS coil coming from Sacramento. That should make this machine run better in the garbage, which is why I bought the Explorer.

Good going on the nice finds! Congrats and go get the lost treasure still hidden for you to find! May God Bless you to find lots more goodies and you can swing your detector more easily! A lot of various assortment of older items & coins found! Amen! Ma Betty

I took to the etrac like a duck to water, I was familiar with multi tones and a lot of people struggle with that

I programmed my White's XLT Spectrum detector for different sounding tones and I really liked it, as it helped me to distingish the different coin sounds and quarters were most always a quarter or more in the hole! I had to have a light weight detector though and with the chest mount XLT I could pretty well swing and dig all day until becoming too ill with COPD and Osteo-Arthritis! Everything comes to an end and my going :detecting: did! But I'm still serving my Lord and even if God slays me, yet will I serve Him! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Those are Washington State tax tokens. They were issued as change for sales tax between 1936 and 1961. Could also be used to pay for sales tax. Feds decided this was an attack on US coinage and said no-no.

We will see how well I like the Explorer. I need to fix the handle so it is not so harsh on the wrist. Your wrist is not made to bear weight in the position that this machne forces it into to run the machine. When this problem is cared for I think it will do just fine.
