Found some old maps at a garage sale, topo's that showed alot of old schools in and around my area.Went out and investigated a few of the ones that where accessible. It was rather interesting to find that most of these schools were still there but had been turned into private homes, one even a church.Anyway found one that was still standing but was abandoned.Ran the ltd at 80 sens.6v disc.3h tones and bp mode due to the high vegetation, using the 5' coil. The quarter was deeper then the indian head?? The small child silver ring was 6' deep but the F75 locked onto it like it was just laying on the ground.I found 11 of those tokens, thought the first one was a large cent!! Have no idea what they are from??........hh rick in mi.

That is great. I detect a lot of old schools and all I ever find is a few wheats.

I have a stack of 1920 topo's and highlight all the old schools. Yes, they are now homes, Churches and even new schools.
