Last trip to a great property....

In around 10 days we go to a property we have detected at, the property is managed by my son in-law, and is 16,000 acres, and has been settled since 1830.
Here's a few pics I have taken over the last couple of years..

Not so happy, Snowy

Hi Snowy,

That looks like a great place to detect, I just love the house, there has to be the potential for one or two gold sovereigns in the ground, I gather you Will take the new SE, let me know how you go.
Here is a short story, My next door neighbour's Father had a property at Whitemore here in Tasmania, while removing old fence posts to replace the fence he dug up an old Golden Syrup tin under post number ??? and inside found 100 mint condition gold sovereigns (didn't have a metal detector either). I have personally seen some of these sovereigns and can vouch for the condition. You just never know what's under the ground.
Hope you have a rewarding time there....Regards....Boony

That's awesome Boony,
I am determined to get down into the old cellar this time.

The old place is nailed with those old square nails.
I've included some pics,an old pocket watch,a British halfpenny, and the photo showing the cellar trap door.
Last time there I detected a solid silver Masonic locket,I think the locket may have been a silver watch fob snuff box...

Sure is Jimbo,
I'm a lucky guy in that my wife detects with me too.
She has a Tesoro Cibola and loves to hunt. :clapping:

16,000 acres. That's enough to keep you busy for a couple lifetimes. GL and HH
