A new month and speed back to normal. I now know what my ISP means by 'shaping'.
Thanks Gus and Grubstake for your help.

Here's a couple of photo's from my last bush tip.

An 11 grammer at more than half a 'Doc's Bungy' deep.

Some WA scenery with the same blue sky as Rye Patch.

Alan,
Great to see you were able to post your pictures,,, And some damn nice one's to boot.
That's an excellent looking nugget.
Diggin deep gold is a blast. Was it a real quiet signal at first? I'll bet you were getting excited down around the foot mark:clap:
That country looks Vast. It looks like it would take along time to cover all that ground.
Nice post.
Gus-

It was one of those nice soft sounds that make you go 'oo'(not sure how you spell that)
I was surprised at the size of it considering the depth.
I've been down on my knees digging a lot this year. The 4000 has been good to me.
I mainly detect new ground and it can only be gold down there!
Yes, it is a big country but, alas, the gold is not everywhere...

Alan; Nice gold and beautiful country. I love the vast open land, empty blue sky and silence of Western Australia. Without pinpointing your areas which part of WA do you work? I would love to see more pictures.

Good Hunting

Fred.
You are right about the wide open spaces and blue sky. I think that's why the photos of Rye Patch appeal to me.
I mainly work in the Kalgoorlie area.

Your welcome Alan, now it looks like you have that picture posting down pat. Good going and a very nice nugget. Good luck in hunts. Grubstake

g'day Alan, do you have any more pix and posts about your trips on the web or a site?

I like to hear about others prospecting trips.

Allen, Your photos bring back memories from my trip to AU last year. Guess I should bust them out this winter when I get more time and post a few.

11 Gram is a good solid nugget for over there. When we did our trip, the largest nugget was 3 gram and then I found a 3 oz specimen. 3 weeks of detecting Leonora area and I came home with about 5 ounces.

Thanks for sharing.

I haven't been to the Leonora area for many years. Did most of my beeping there in the Deep Seeker/Ground Hog days.
From what I hear now 5oz in 3 weeks is very good.

This site is about as close as I will get to having a web site.
Stayed in the bush too long to get my head around this computer stuff.....:)
