These are from the last two hunts. Any ideas what the bell looking thing is, It has cork in the bottom & course threads. I dug it in a confederate camp In Carlisle PA.

Hi, the little bell would be the cap of a small bottle of holy water to carry suspended as a protective amulet? Here in Spain, was very common to provide relics, amulets, crosses and medals to the soldiers before heading to the battlefield to protect them. It's just an idea ...
