Probably the last shot for silver coins and other oldies for this year. Not the most ideal hunting conditions weather wise this morning, 34 degrees with a brisk n w wind and some flurries, but dressed for the conditions and ventured out to the patch of woods that had yielded the Barber quarter a week or so ago. Not many good targets, but did manage 3 coins, 1, a 40 wheat cent, and a old lighter and another old eye shadow case. The lighter is a Morton and with the car on top is listed as "vintage rare," and from the 30's. Haven't found a name yet on the eye shadow case, which is metal, but maybe once I get all the gunk cleaned from the inside a name will show up. Had the new 10" DD coil on the Omega and running 99 sen, disc 1 and d3 tones. Hope everyone has a great and Happy New Year. HH jim tn

That there is some pretty old stuff! Imagine what humans thought when the first lighters came out..no more flint and steel..people today have no idea how hard it is to make a fire without matches or a lighter..those are decent finds for the weather and late in the season. Nice to see you are out and at it!
