Latest Bullet Finds - ID Help?

I've just got started relic hunting, and in particular for civil war items. I found a couple of bullets, but would like a bit more information about them. I don't have a caliper yet, so I used a penny in each photo to show size. I'm assuming that the round one is a musket ball. Is that correct? The other one looks like a Minie ball, but it has no rings and it's pretty 'rough' (not nice and smooth like the others that I've found). Can someone give me any information about this second one?

Looks like a shot pistol bullet and a dropped pistol ball. Was there civil war activity in the area you found them. Sometimes it's hard to know for sure. But knowing there was civil war activity in the area makes a difference in identifying the find. Nice finds. :detecting:

I have found many of these where there was no war activity. After the war the sabot style bullets were used for hunting and replaced a lot of the round balls for several years until the cartridge rounds came out. Great finds !!!
