see the coin in the penknife

Some very nice finds - you run the gamut from Medieval (possibly earlier) to modern times. The hammered silver is nice as well as some of the artifacts. Have you been able to identify any of them as to their use and time period? Thanks for sharing your finds and continued success.

Thanks, TD! My finds range from "Wow!" to "rubbish really", the majority being the latter

The hammered is from 1640 but is so worn it was probably lost in the 18th century and that is the earliest my finds date to apart from the one in 1,000 digs

The piece of lead is interesting with the letters ZEM...I think

I find and return a few farm toolss so they love me )

Neat and interesting video Bilko! A lot of neat finds too! Congratulations on a good place to hunt! Thanks for the video

The large brass clasp was interesting and may be "old". Also interesting was the round piece of lead at the end of the video that appeared to have a crown above a C. Any ideas as to the age and use of this artifact-possibly a weight? Neat stuff - even the "rubbish". Happy hunting.

Thanks,TD. I'm pretty sure the brass clasp was ripped off a strong box to get to the stuff inside. It was found on the side of a field. Will go back there when it has been ploughed. The lead token is very official and connected with the Georgian period but I've no idea of its use. Think the lead antlers are old and are painted red. The thing after the penknives is very old, I believe
