Okay, first my apologies. When I retired last January, I told everyone I would posting a lot more with all that time to go digging. Then, a severly herniated disc put those plans on the back burner. This is my first real digging expedition since my surgery and recovery. Found the usual clad, a soccer pin, and a nice sterling Tiffany & Co. heart tag charm. I'm making short trips, but I'm glad to be back in the field - digging!

A very cool find and the 'Tiffany' brand being on it makes it a little more special! I have had a bad herniated and extruded disc in my lower back years ago and I am very familiar with sciatica pain. Fortunately, if I am careful in lifting, it isn't a problem and I hope it's the same for you! Keep swinging and actually, this hobby can keep those back muscles in shape to do what they need to do. You just have to keep your back straight when digging etc;.

Agreed. My movements are much different now. My back lets me know when I've had enough and for once in my life I am listening!
