LCD Screen Protectors

Has anyone out there used a screen protecting film on your detector LCD screen? Just curious if they work very well to keep the scratches to a minimum and if you can still see the screen ok.

I cut mine from a page protector ,stuck it on with 4 dabs of water soluable glue.Protects your screen and touch pads.

I often wonder about clear packing tape. Got some stuff that hasn't yellowed over time.

I would not use any kind of tape, as if you want to get it off at any time, it is NOT gonna be easy....

That is true.... It would take some goo gone to get it off if needed.

The static kind is what I was wondering about Alimo. I have some small sheets in various sizes that I use on my digital camera screen and my scanner screen. Just wondered if it is safe to use on a detector screen as well and if anyone has tried it.
