Legend froze

I just bought a Legend pro pack and I was setting up a discrimination program and while I was notching out 59 and 60 on the scale the detector just froze in that position None of the buttons work, it won't even shut off, I unplugged the coil and that didn't work, it is just frozen on the screen pictured. What to do?

I was able to unfreeze it by holding the on off button for an extended period of time, about 3 minutes, hopefully it was just an isolated incident .

did your Legend already have the 1.09 or did you have to update to 1.09

if you had to update to 1.09 re install the 1.09 and after the re install do a factory reset one of my legends did the same thing while I was trying to set up a custom user discrimination pattern it froze 4 times I also got mine to reset by holding the power button down 2-3 minutes the forth time it froze I shut it down and did the re install of the 1.09 and did the factory reset, I have had no issues since

When I got my Legend it was on version 1.07 and I had to update it to 1.09, after it froze the first time I held the on off button and after about 2 to 3 minutes LD appeared on the screen and it was back to factory presets. I then proceeded to put my user profile settings in again, I have 3 different ones , it froze one more time so I repeated what I had done before and I brought it back to life again. I finally was able to get all 3 of my profiles in without another incident. The Legend is a great performer and I am glad to have a new pro pack but I have to admit when it acted up like it did I was asking myself why I didn't buy a Nox . I am looking forward to get out and use the Legend

I'm cheap and the Legend is comparable, I will probably be investing in another Minelab detector before long after I clear up the Christmas expenses.

Same here but I wouldn’t say Im cheap lol.
Maybe sensible and practical would better describe it.
Whatever the word for not paying more
for basically the same thing
