Let me introduce myself.

So after over a year of lurking I thought I would come out of the shadows and introduce myself. I live in Utah and work for the Forest Service. I became interested in metal detecting when we purchased a Bounty Hunter Land Star for work and I got put in charge of figuring out how it worked. That is when I started lurking and learning from the vast amounts of wisdom on many of the online forums.

Now, finally I have decided to go with the Ace 250, mostly due to all the great things I have heard about it on this forum. Now I just need to get the rest of the snow to melt and I will be out swinging and maybe even posting a few interesting finds.

Thanks for all the great advice you guys gave me, and you never even knew it.

I too was involved with the forestry, going through for a Conservation Officer. I finished the program, but somehow all the dots never got connected, so I ended up in healthcare. You got yourself a fine machine. Go have fun and gets some goodies
