Lets have a seat....1891 Seated

INSAYN

New member
So, after a rough summer of just crap and clad (for the most part), I finally broke through and found a coin I can check off my metal detecting bucket list.

These are not found out in here in NW Oregon very often, and certainly not by me, until today.

:wiggle:

Totally "Happy Dance" worthy!!!

Many hours of research, and digging through old maps to find a location that may hold an old coin or two.
Headed out this morning with the goal to find at least a Barber dime (still haven't found one), but instead greeted by Miss Liberty.

In addition to the Seated dime, and fist full of clas, I also dug a green 1918 Wheatie, and a Japanese 100 Yen coin.

It was a good day. :super:

Great job! Hope you can cross more off your list soon!

You can't complain about a seated. I have found quite a few and I love the anticipation when then first side I see is the wreath! Is it going to be a Barber or is it going to be a Seated?

I stopped an hour ago and got permission to hunt at another really old house. We're expecting rain tomorrow. I going to try to do some if it's not raining or raining lightly otherwise, I'll wait until Sunday.

Keep looking for those Barbers and I think you'll do well! Nice.
