Eurotek Pro air tests on U.S. coins with both the 8" concentric & 11" DD coils.----Please, Purdy please!---There's a bunch of us "chompin at the bit" to hear about 'em!---Don't have to be anything fancy, just a few accurate air test readings on what coil (or coils) you have for this detector.

You are in luck Del, I just looked out the window and the rain finally stopped, I will run out and test some clad coins. Be right back........

And in conjunction, any of you Eurotek folks have a good test garden with some 6-9" deep coins in it? If so, let us know how it does your your garden. Thanks, HH jim tn

Air test results with my Eurotek Pro with 11"DD coil. Using U.S. clad coins, repeatable beeps, sensitivity set at max (10), discrimination set at 0 and volume set at 10.

Penny 9"
Nickel 10"
Dime 8.5"
Quarter 9"
My size 10 white gold wedding band (not very wide) just shy of 6"

Not that it probably doesn't make any difference today isn't the nicest day, it has rained on and off, it wasn't raining when I done the air tests but it is fairly windy.

Happy Birthday Jim ,it would make you a dandy present.

Del, I just posted my Eurotek Pro 8 inch coil air tests under my post entitled " new Eurotek Pro coming tomorrow" if you care to look at them along with some thoughts on the detector.
Comparing Steve's 11" coil to my 8" coil air tests there is about 1 " difference in depth with the 11 inch coil being deeper.....HH

Good test/report, thanks guys.-----That buggar sure likes nickels, doesn't it, even at that lower kHz operating frequency.-----I would have thought it would have gotten a little better depth on a L.C. & quarter but what is--is.-----Seems to proving out to be a pretty good little machine for the money.----I'll try to do some ground tests with mine when I get it Friday & report on them.---My ground is pretty tuff so you guys will probably do better in your milder ground than what I do.-------Del

Settings: Sensitivity on 10 and volume on 12 and disc set at 00. Tested out in yard to try and reduce EMI. The 11" DD coil was a little chatty.

Air tests are just to give you a starting point, real dirt may/will be different.

VID numbers:
Wheat Penny______81-82

Good tests Cadman, thanks.------I had that Sharpshooter coil to & it never impressed me either.----Also had the (expensive) Tornado for my Etrac & it went "gunnybags" the first year---I'll never buy an N E L coil again.
