Been using my Gemini 3 lately but even though I've had it for years, I haven't logged much success with it through no fault of the detector, I'm sure. Set up isn't a problem but I'd like to hear from others as to what sort of (size) targets they've recovered and at what depths. Thanks!

& it worked great in some areas. But, I ran into a major issue with our hot rocks here where I intended to use it. I was hoping to find Rev War cannonballs with it, but the battle site was unfortunately loaded with large black rocks full of iron (magnitite maybe?). The manual mentions several times that iron minerals really bother it, & I found out quick.
I thought I'd hit the mother load, & then I'd dig down 3 feet to find a football sized black rock! :ranting: I just rolled with it for awhile, until I went down about 5 feet for a giant black rock. Then it began to collect dust so I sold it.......
Sometimes I wonder if I should have kept it around to look for trash pits in the woods.......but I think it was part of the trade for a T2 so I can't complain ;)
