Nice find in great shape to considering how long it’s been in the ground!
There are a few different variations to of that coin.

Wow..I’ve found 2 liberty cap large cents but never a half cent...might still have some decent valve ..awesome find...

The 2 -1794 large cents I found have writing engraved into the outside edge as well...

Areyou sure it’s not a Draped Bust Half Cent? If you look closely, the date could be 1800 with the 1 completely obscured!

I think what you are seeing is the 1/200 on the reverse of the coin, which = 1/2 cent. The obverse would have the date.
Nice find. I've never found any US coins that old in Texas.
