Life has changed as we know it...

Sherry's Mom is now in a nursing home about a half mile away. Her mother will be losing everything...her house, her baby grand piano, and we wound up with her dog. Having already 3 dogs the first day I had to resort to drastic measure...ear plugs in the ears and headphones over them with Christian music cranked up to cover the non-stop barking. It either that or kill a bunch of dogs. They are a little better now but I was so upset I was thinking of selling all my detectors, all my equipment, etc. just so I could get the motorcycle running and escape this insanity. I envisioned it not getting any better and was desperate.

Sherry told me yesterday I should go detecting. My sinuses were running so bad I'd have had to detect with a roll of toilet paper in one hand. I didn't go. Thought maybe the sinuses stuff was because of all the leaves on the ground. Mold spore or something. I has been NUTS around here. Well, the sinus problem has been passed on to Sherry and I still have them plus we both have body aches all over the place...even my spine hurts just sitting in thie chair. My head has been hurting horribly and I can't take anything that has the warning about glaucoma on the box...which is almost all alergy meds.

With all the things going on to get Mother-in-law moved from the hospital, getting power of attorneys and so much other stuff...we really haven't had much time for anything. Though I am closer to getting the motorcycle running...got the carbs off the bike...just feel too crappy to do anything more right now and they are talking a couple days of rain. (Without a work bench I have to sit at the picnic table...don't think under the circumstance I want to be sick and sitting at the picnic table in the rain. Just hope I remember how it all goes back together back on the bike.

So now you know where I have been. Praying for you all that you do not catch this flu and God is meeting all your needs in Jesus name Amen

Life is full of trials, and I'll pray that God carries you through this.

Well, Pete, as they used to sing on Hee-Haw.....if it weren't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all! But that isn't true for the Children of God. The trials we have should make us cry out to God and draw closer to Him, as Jesus is our helper in times of need!

Hang in there and keep the faith for black clouds have silver linings when the sun comes shining through. Your families light is the glorious, golden light of Jesus to show the way out of each trial and remember, He is our Rock to stand on for He will not move nor shake! He is our firm foundation! If we get farther away it is because we've moved and not our Savior!

My prayers are still with you and praying for healing from the flu! So many have been affected by it this winter and spring!

Have you ever tried breathing warm salt water into your nostrils? Just put warm salt water in a pan or bowl and wet a clean washcloth and place it up to your nose and breathe the salt water from it! It should help heal your sinuses!

Times are getting bad because there are too many worldly people and not enough who really care about serviing the Lord!

God Bless & Hope your family are feeling better soon and all works out for the good to each of you and Sherry's mother!
