Sittin here in front of the TV with a ribeye steak (medium rare and fresh off the grill), baked potato, garlic bread, and salad. Just waiting for the Bama game kick off on ESPN, due to happen in the next few minutes! The weather is cool, all of my family is safe and accounted for... life is good at this moment! :)

Rick, my doors are always open! People are in and out of here, about like a Walmart! Ha! Come on down! If you make it here, I promise we will cook steaks! I think Wendy's sounds great too. That's my favorite fast food place.

I just back from chic filet , not a steak but pretty good . GO BAMA!!
 
Well, Lisa, if I ever get down there to visit and eat....Be sure that mine is cooked, as I don't like my meat with any red in it! Yuck!! :lol: God Bless! Ma Betty
 
I really like Chic-Fil-a, too. I like my chicken sandwich with extra pickles! Bama is doing okay but they sure don't have it won yet! Hoping we can hang onto the lead and pull it out.

Ah, come on, Ma! You know that you cook all the flavor, tenderness, and juices out of the meat when you cook it done!!! lol!!! Just strike a match under it and warm it up a little! lol Mooooo!!!!

Well, you can cook mine med done....No I don't like it dry with the juices out either but no blood pleeeeze! :) I did go :detecting: today and it wasn't great but it wasn't my worst day either! You can read about it on my new post! :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty

Funny you would mention biscuits and gravy! We had biscuits, gravy, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and fried green tomatoes for supper tonight! I would have gladly shared!

Well, if you decide to visit B'ham, give me a holler and maybe our families can get together for lunch. I can be in B'ham in about an hour, or so. Be sure to have your step daughter take you to eat at Jim'n Nicks! Best BBQ around! Tell her it's in Trussville (a suburb of B'ham).

I had to go on a diet to lower my colesterol.
I have eaten enough chicken the last 5 months to sprout wings:biggrin:
