Little Bitty Things on last couple hunts

Neita SC

New member
Hey all. Hunted last couple days at tot lots. Found bunch of little bitty things and modern clad. Found the Boy Scout slides at one of the BSA gathering places.
Don't remember the TIDs on the small stuff. Was mostly hunting at night and going by sound rather than numbers.

Thx for looking and hope you guys and gals in the North get out soon!

Nice collection of goods.

I like finding the really small stuff because it lets you know you're not missing much. Although, they can be very time consuming to find being so small.

Here is a picture of some of the smalls I find in tot lots.

Elton - That absolutely sucks!. And that is one of the reasons why I do not live in Maryland anymore. Moved South 'bout two years ago. No regrets brother!!!!
Bart - The chain hit around 10, so I'm thinking it is not real. No stamps. I have never found a gold chain so I am not sure what they will TID.
Rick - I hate to tell you but it has been in the 70s over that few days. Shorts and flip-flops!!!
Mike - I like hunting at night. It really makes you train your ears to hear the tones, rather than hear a tone and then verify the numeric before you decide to dig. Also, what do small goin chains TID?
Southwind - now that's a cool little pic! Thx for sharing that.
Steve - Thank you for commenting. I was very surprised to find so many Little Things.

Thx Guys....

A chain that small wouldn't necessary have a marking on it,does it stick to a magnet? And remember the gold stuff can fall in any range, same goes for silver etc.Case in point I found a 20" mens sterling silver necklace/chain on 2-14-11 came in as a pulltab.Composition, size, ground conditions all can play a part as to how something TIDs.I questioned my find also , but mine was stamped .925 wouldn't have known it ,if I hadn't looked at it with a magnifying glass. good finds all the less. And yeah the F5 will find the small stuff deep to
