Little Golden gets Big Silver!

Took the Golden uMax to a Park I hunted with My other 2 Detectors. All I got was a couple wheats No Silver. Well today was different as I got a Good 4 way High Tone Softer but big sounding signal. I figured maybe a screw cap? Dug down about 7" and see a Big Silver reeded edge. I pull out a 52' Franklin Half. Man First Silver Half I got in almost 3 Years. Don't know how other 2 Missed it, But the Golden didn't.

That's awesome! Big silver is hard to anymore. I have a golden too but need to re learn it.

Congrats on the BF, really nice coin.

Super dig Harold,

Glad to hear the Golden is finding old coins, I remember a time we used the golden for gold jewelry hunting only. It's refreshing seeing it find old coins too, neat detector still doing well.

Congratulations!

Nice find. At 7" or so the amount of ground covered if you're using concentric coils is quite small. That's probably why you missed it before.

Nice Franklin you've got there, Harold. Have yet to find one of those. - Invisible Man/Daddy
