Little park keeps on giving: 2 more silver, 13 more wheats

Hi Gang:

UPDATE for 8/8/2013

Went back to the little park for 3.75 hours this morning and was joined by Josh (JNicholson).

Picked up a 1920 merc and a 1946 rosie dime. That makes 17 silver for August and 90 silver for year. I had 44 silver TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

Also picked up 13 wheaties ranging from 1928 to 1958. That makes 64 wheaties for August and 313 for the year. I had 270 wheats TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

This postage stamp sized park has now given me 32 silver and 152 wheats in my last 37 hours hunting there.

Birthday boy Josh also had a good day and will be posting his finds later.

Wow man...you better start looking for another spot to keep your streak alive once you finish there. It should be real good for you in the Fall, that seems to be the right weather for lots of silver coins. I'd like to see you break 100 and keep on going! Nice work!

Another couple of weeks and I should be wrapping it up at this spot for a while. Although I am one of those guys who believes a spot is never hunted out.
