Lo Bat error

I got a 'Lo Bat' error on my Makro Racer and once in this status I cannot clear the error, even by replacing the batteries. Anybody ever get this error? Is there a fix?

Factory reset?

Not familiar with the red racer.
If you contact Nokta/Makro I'm sure they can help.

Hello coindawg I also got that Lo Lo Lo everytime my headphone cord got hung up on bushes and jarred the jack assembly so i investigated and found the headphone socket to blame so i loosened the nut that holds the headphone jack on the outside of the housing instant fix hasn't happened since so not sure if you have the same issue.

I had that in a 'Racer 2' and traced it to one of the 4 battery springs - one was misaligned and crooked and didn't make a 100% connection to the battery.
Straightened it using a key ( only tool available at the time) and that took care of the issue.
I've loaned that detector to someone who has not mentioned any problem so it looks like my 'McGyver' fix worked!

Sent it in to Metaldetectors.com and Bill Ladd had it fixed right up. Great crew and they handle Makro Racer repairs here in the US.
