Loaded tot lot:surprised:

Since I hunt for older coins throughout the week, I usually hunt a couple of tot lots on the weekend just to get out. I have about five that every couple of weeks I'll hit and each are usually good for a couple of bucks in clad and on occasion a silver ring and every so often, a gold one will come along. Anyway, I hit a wood chip tot lot by a school earlier today that I hadn't been to for a while and found the thing loaded. I recovered 98 coins for $9.31 and a 925 silver ring with a turquoise stone. Of the coins,15 were quarters, 37 were dimes,35 were nickels and 11 were pennies. I don't recall in all my years of hunting ever finding that many coins in one outing. Hope everyone has a great weekend. HH jim tn

Excellent hunt Jim. I also had a good day in the tot lot. Good detecting. Happy Trails..Z

To find lots of quarters go to low income schools, reduced lunches are 75 cents, hit one play ground that was about 25x25 found 23 quarters. no pennies,, no dimes, no nickels, just quarters.

I hit the grass around the wood chip tot lot and the F 75 sniffed out another $5.26 in clad...an even 50 coins. This school and tot lot is near the fringe of my weekend tot lot route, but looks like I may need to give it a little more attention. There is still a good bit of playground left to hunt and in another couple of weeks all will be reseeded again. I don't want to get to far behind in my coin harvesting. Digging all those coins is work. HH jim tn
