Local State Fair Grounds

Went to my local State Fair Grounds for a short hunt this morning because the had several long trenches dug for some electrical wires. I just thought I would check their piles of dirt along the trenches to see if they uncovered anything before anybody showed up to work. I got to detect about 15 or 20 mins. before they showed up so then I quit. I will have to go back when their not working though and see if I can find some more coins because in that short time I found a crusty old wheat and a 1925 Merury dime.

 Nice finds for sure. You should have stayed longer, I have had good interactions with all of the park and fair workers I see while detecting. Just 1 week ago a park worker asked me if I would look for a socket they dropped in the grass. :detecting: Nice merc.
