Been a tough year for civil war finds. I finished out last year with 26 military buttons and till today 0 for this year. After picking dozens of pieces of scrap brass from an old homesite in the corner of a bean field I got a decent "Indian head" signal. Sure was glad to see a dome shape roll out of the dirt. The initial clean up showed a tiny spot of guild so pulled out the stops worked it slow. I was very happy with the end results.
