Longer lower shaft?

Anyone know if there is a longer lower shaft for the ET??

Yes. It's called a Tall Man Shaft. It works with the Quattro, SE and E-Trac.

You must be one heck of a he-man! I shorten my rod to save my shoulder. The longer the shaft, the more muscle it takes to swing it around.

Doc's swing thingy for the win!!! Ive been using it for some time now with the 12x15 SEF coil. I can grid whole sections of beach all day with no fatigue. I'm 6'3 and the stock rod is all the way out. This works but the shaft has some wobble. I figure the extra length of the rod would help the wobble and increase the sweep.

OK.... I've been eyeballing those "swingy thingy" things. I think you've pushed me over the edge to buy one.

Just a matter of staying in detecting shape .First few hunts in the spring I have to work my way into good form:rofl:

Doc's swingy thingy is the real deal. You will love it. Especially if you'll be detecting for over 3 hours.
I start out the first half of the day without using it - after lunch - I can't swing without using it...
And on the bigger 12x15 coils - there's nothing better.

Detecting over 3 hrs ? .....That's just a pre game warm up !!.....I made my own setup that I call "Siwing This " ...... I couldn't last at all if I didn't use it .....It's got to be on my top 3 items that I use to hunt with ......You can more than DOUBLE your hunting time without hurting yourself .....Jim
